Discovering historic, beautiful Queenscliff

Our residents always love getting out and about, so when our mount Martha valley lifestyle coordinator, Angela, arranged a trip to Queenscliff just before Christmas, they jumped at the chance! The group of residents and carers started their day by taking the ferry from Sorrento over Port Phillip Bay to Queenscliff. During the cruise, they spotted dolphins and seals.

A picnic lunch on board, accompanied by terrific views, was enjoyed by all.

After the 40-minute ride, the party arrived at Queenscliff – a pretty, interesting and historic town where they enjoyed discovering shops, cafes and sights.

Mount Martha Valley in Safety Beach is always looking for more volunteers who would like to be involved in assisting with lifestyle activities and programs for our residents. For further information about volunteering at Royal Freemasons, please get in touch with us 1300 623 624.
