Home Care Packages (HCP)

Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP)
The Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) in an entry-level, in-home support program for older people who need assistance and services to live independently and safely at home.
These services might also be suitable if you have had a setback and need support for a brief time to help you get back on your feet.

Are you eligible for in-home support services?
Royal Freemasons offers subsidised in-home services to older people through the Home Care Packages (HCP) program and the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP), based on their support needs and age eligibility.
You may be eligible for subsidised aged care services if:
- You need help with some everyday tasks
- You are 65 years or older (50 years or older for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people)
- You are on a low income, homeless or at risk of being homeless, and aged 50 years or older (45 years or older for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people)
