Welcome to our mid-year issue of The Link. Around this time, we face the end of another financial year. It’s always an important point for Royal Freemasons to reflect on achievements over the past twelve months, and to plan for an exciting new stage of improved levels of service and care.
We have seen significant growth in the number of elders that receive our care and accommodation services. We are expanding our physical reach with new and upgraded facilities across regional Victoria, and we enjoy a respected voice among policy makers, other sector leaders and industry groups.
In this issue of The Link, we profile some of our latest initiatives – programs designed with the comfort, security and support of older Victorians as our key objectives. Our feature story on pages 3 and 4 profiles the recent opening of our first newly built Aged Care facility in regional Victoria – Royal Freemasons Bendigo.
Set in beautiful landscaped gardens with accommodation options for couples and singles, residents are already telling us how comfortable, happy and secure they feel in their new home.
We also cover some news from our homes, an update on our 150th Anniversary and our research and innovation program, ‘For You For Life Tapestry’ that will take its success globally. I hope this Winter treats you well.
