THE 2016 HOMES OPEN DAY WAS CELEBRATED ON SUNDAY 3RD APRIL. IT WAS A FAMILY DAY WITH SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE.

The Event was held at Coppin Centre, on the Crown Land which was granted for the original site of the Freemasons’ Homes established 149 years ago in 1867. As Royal Freemasons moves towards it’s 150th anniversary, our keynote speaker, journalist and author, Jenny Brown, delivered a colourful and informative presentation on her experience in collating content for the 2017 Homes Anniversary Book, Innovating Tradition. There were Award presentations, acknowledgements, a free buffet luncheon and a variety of activities in a garden atmosphere. The family-style entertainment included a petting zoo, roving entertainer, facepainting and all types of live music.
