AT EACH ROYAL FREEMASONS SITE ACROSS VICTORIA WE OFFER RESIDENTS TREATMENT, SUPPORT AND ADVICE FROM A STRONG, CARING AND CLINICALLY EXPERIENCED ALLIED HEALTH TEAM.

As a multidisciplinary group, our teams work hard to optimise the health and wellbeing of residents to help them reach their own personal goals, such as

  • Increasing strength
  • Improving endurance
  • Extending flexibility
  • Enhancing balance
  • Learning alternate ways to manage tasks
  • Staying independent
  • Meeting new people and maintaining friendships
  • Discovering or rediscovering some wonderful activities.

One of the most accessed services is our Pain Management Program – staff provide pain relief via massage, a TENS Machine (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) or apply a heat pack to help those aches and pains diminish. We also have great groups where you can learn meditation and sensory mindfulness; meet likeminded people to chat about news and current affairs; exercise through “Walks Around the World”, Tai Chi or in groups to build strength, balance and mobility. All wonderful ways to renew, inspire and get morefrom your day. If you aren’t a resident of one of our homes, our Commonwealth Home Support Program funded groups have long been a favourite of those who live close to Coppin Centre and Footscray Aged Care. We offer sessions for exercise, meditation, social interaction, 1:1 Physiotherapy/ Exercise Physiology – all designed to support your independence at home. If you are a resident, just speak to your Physiotherapist or Facility Manager and see what we can do for you. If you have a Home Care Package, we can organise a specialist Home Care consultation for you with no obligations.
