Monash Gardens Community Open Day – May 5th 2018
Royal Freemasons’ Monash Gardens Aged Care and Retirement Village is hosting a community open day on Saturday the 5th of May between 11am and 3pm. The open day will take place at Monash Gardens, located at 355 Wellington Road, Mulgrave, 3170.
Royal Freemasons is a non-for profit charitable organisation that has provided care for older Victorians in regional and metropolitan areas for over 150 years. As an organisation, they are devoted to giving back to the community and connecting to the individuals within them.
The community open day will be run in partnership with the City of Monash to ensure a great day out for all ages. The council is a certified as a Positive Ageing City by the World Health Organisation and is devoted to supporting seniors within their community.
All members of the community and their families are invited to enjoy a wide variety of free and family friendly activities. There will be a delicious barbeque, spectacular face painting, a sensational animal farm, fantastic entertainers, market stalls, card games, carpet bowls, talented musicians and personal health and hearing checks. Enjoy a complimentary cup of tea or coffee, whilst discussing your life journey with aged care professionals, retirement living experts or a financial planner.
We invite you to tour the retirement units, which are all two bedroom and some recently refurbished. Or, think about moving into our co-located aged care facility equipped with experienced and friendly carers 24/7. Both of these exceptional facilities are surrounded by peaceful native Australian greenery.
