One of the initiatives instigated in preparation for our 150th anniversary in 2017 is the commissioning of a reflective book on our fascinating journey to date.
This ‘journal of record’ will summarise and highlight the activities, development and achievements of Royal Freemasons from the point of the last published history “Let Them Be Admitted” in the late 1960s until the present day.
The project will be launched to coincide with our 2017 celebrations, and will be accompanied by a coffee table book to be launched at the same time. As part of our 150th Anniversary Celebration we are running a competition for the best historic photograph and story that most represents Royal Freemasons’ history over the last 150 years.
This may be a photograph of a significant moment, a special event that took place in the community, or a photograph of a significant period within Freemasonry in Victoria. Please attach a short story to accompany your photograph (in no more than 200 words) about the photograph and its significance to Royal Freemasons over the last 150 years.
All photographs and stories will be published on the Royal Freemasons website in the 150th Anniversary section. Winning photographs and stories will be published in The Link newsletter.
