Pilot launched as part of The National Aged Care Quality Indicator Program.

The national aged care quality indicator program for home care services will be piloted nationally in 2016. The Department of Health has engaged KPMG to assist in developing and implementing this process.

Royal Freemasons Home Care has taken up the offer to participate in the pilot program, with the following Domains to be trialled: Goal attainment Consumer Experience Quality of Life Once information about the quality indicators is consistent and reliable it will be made available on the My Aged Care website.

It is envisaged this information will inform and support consumer choice of home care services, while offering an opportunity to drive ongoing quality improvement.
