Hello Dolly!

Our Elizabeth gardens residents have been involved in the doll project, making calico dolls for the Kiwanis Club over a number of years.

The club supply the calico material and our volunteers cut and sew them together.

Our residents then turn the dolls right way out and stuff them with wadding, then sew the seam up.

The handcrafted dolls are finally returned to Kiwanis Club, an international charity working for children, for use in hospitals with nursing students and children.

Well done to our Elizabeth Gardens’ residents and their selfless efforts!
