ROYAL FREEMASONS VALUES HEALTH AND WELLBEING. FLU VAX 2016 IS AN IMPORTANT PART OF OUR DUTY OF CARE IN PROTECTING CUSTOMERS, EMPLOYEES AND FAMILY.
The vaccine for 2016 offers prevention of Influenza caused by virus types A (California and Hong Kong) and B (Brisbane and Phuket), and was made available to all employees (permanent and casual) and volunteers free of charge.
During the winter months we will all come into contact with a wide range of infectious diseases, including the highly infectious Influenza virus, through friends, family, olleagues or guests at work, home and in the community.
For most of us, the impact of infection is relatively low, but there can be life-threatening complications for our customers with suppressed immunity due to other health conditions.
Our annual Vaccination Program was held in April. We thank all employees and volunteers who have participated in the FLU VAX 2016 campaign and have given this important program their full support. Thank you.
