Celebrating our wonderful volunteers!

ROYAL FREEMASONS HOSTED OUR ANNUAL VOLUNTEERS’ LUNCH IN DECEMBER 2017 TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE HARD WORK, TIME AND CARE DONATED BY OUR VOLUNTEERS, OVER ONE HUNDRED PEOPLE ATTENDED THE DAY AND ENJOYED A LUNCH AND AWARDS CEREMONY.

Royal Freemasons has over 280 volunteers across the organisation, supporting us in many different ways. We have volunteers from the Ladies Auxiliary, the Hand of Friendship Lodge, as well as other lodge members. Volunteers can assist with men’s groups, craft groups, bus driving, board games, bingo (always a favourite), carpet bowls, footy tipping, DVD watching, discussion groups, reading and trivia groups, church services, pet therapy, exercise therapy and one-on-one companionship visits. Just a few hours of volunteer work makes a difference in the happiness and mood of all of our residents. Research shows volunteers live happier and healthier lives. We wish to express our sincere appreciation for all the time, care and support our volunteers give to our residents and we very much consider them to be part of our Royal Freemasons family. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact our volunteer coordinator on 03 9452 2445 for an informal chat or visit the volunteer page on our website.
