Royal Freemasons sells Monash Gardens Village to Auscare Retirement

Monash Gardens Village, Mulgrave.

Royal Freemasons announced today that Auscare Retirement will acquire its Monash Gardens Village retirement living community in Mulgrave, Victoria.

It is expected that the transfer of Monash Gardens Village to Auscare ownership and management will take place on Friday 19 July 2024.

Auscare is a Queensland-based family operation and provider of high-quality retirement living options focusing on independent living.

Auscare has retirement living communities in South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales, and they are excited to extend their portfolio of services with the acquisition of Monash Gardens Village.

In late 2022, Royal Freemasons undertook a strategic review of its organisation and made the decision to rescale its operations. The sale of Monash Gardens Village is a result of that decision.

Royal Freemasons Chief Executive Officer Hugh Cattermole says, “We thank Monash Gardens Village for being a vital part of the Royal Freemasons community for the past ten years and wish them the very best as they transition to Auscare’s management and support.”
