Refocussing Home Care

Business Manager - Home Care trains staff in the new technology

This year we were able to improve our capacity to further enhance the health and well being of those living in their own home by broadening the capabilities and expertise of our people and by using supporting technology.

Our strategy for Home Care involves a move to centralised administrative functions and decentralised operations by replacing metropolitan office sites with colocation within Support Services and improved technology.

One new technology already implemented as a trial is tele-monitoring equipment being installed into the homes of some Home Care customers. This enables our customers to monitor some of their health conditions such as blood pressure and blood glucose  with the support of qualified Royal Freemasons staff.

This new initiative is currently being trialled before further rollout to other Home Care customers.
