Dolina Góry Marty
Malcom Bird, a resident of Mount Martha Valley for almost fourteen years, celebrated his 70th birthday on Friday the 9th of February. As our facility historian, Malcolm is an active resident of Mount Martha Valley. He thoroughly enjoys special events such as the Car Show last year and often makes speeches, addressing his fellow residents. In this photo, he is seen with his birthday gift, a 300 Famous Freemasons commemorative book, presented to him by the Manager of Mount Martha Valley

Centrum Coppina
Over summer and the festive season, Lifestyle Manager, Karen Millar organised a wide range of activities for residents at Coppin Centre. The residents had two Christmas parties, where carols were performed by the Freemasons Victoria, Bellarine Probus and Wesley College choirs. The wheelchair accessible buses allowed for various evening trips to enjoy fish and chips along St Kilda Beach and a BBQ dinner. These were in addition to the four trips a week regularly provided to residents where they visit local shops and enjoy special lunches, concerts, the latest movies, shopping centres, plus scenic drives to the beach and country.

Footscray Aged Care
This summer, the Footscray Aged Care residents took advantage of the great weather, enjoying a host of activities such as walking along the pier at Williamstown, visiting our local Buddhist Temple, sharing lunch with the local community at the Catholic Healing Mass, celebrating Chinese New Year, having a coffee at the Maribyrnong River and shopping at Highpoint. Lifestyle Manager, Susanna Plonsker, says “Footscray Aged Care has a wonderful team of staff and volunteers across many disciplines, who together, strive to achieve the Leisure program goals and the Residents Individual Life Tapestry goals.”
