Coppin Lodge shines with talent

From the wonderful posters on the walls to the unique and marvellous colours and creativity of the contestants’ costumes, Coppin’s Got Talent was a fabulous day, showcasing some amazing entertainers – who are our residents at Coppin Lodge.

With the wonderful support of Lifestyle Manager, Karen Millar, Leisure and Lifestyle Assistants, and other residents, the talent quest was held in November last year and proved a resounding success.

Contestants included both residents and employees, and their performances ranged from lovely vocal numbers to astounding choreography, as well as a couple with a passion for piano as strong as their penchant for comedy. Contestants presented their particular talents in their own special ways.

Winning the quest and a $150 Myer voucher were Karen Millar and Jenny Laidlaw performing under the stage name, The Sera Sera Sisters. Judges marked contestants on their originality, their costumes, choreography and the impact they had on the audience – it was a tough choice.

A splendid event, all audience members were immensely impressed and thoroughly enjoyed the show.
