Located moments from the city of Melbourne, Royal Freemasons Footscray is set in well-established, treed gardens with grassy outdoor retreats and courtyards.

Providing residential aged care for 54 residents, our home offers a calm, friendly and vibrant community atmosphere that is felt by all that visit us.

Specialising in high needs care for member of the Vietnamese and Chinese community, our highly experienced multilingual staff will ensure your needs and preferences are understood and met to an exceptional standard.

With a number of different room types and configurations to meet individual and cultural expectations, our companion rooms offers 54 beds some with ensuite bathroom access and all with direct garden or courtyard access.

Located in a quiet suburban street yet still surprisingly close to the Footscray Market and Highpoint Shopping Centre, Footscray Residential Aged Care is well served by public transport, both trams and buses and well connected to the station enroute to the city.

Trixie joined Royal Freemasons in [year] as [position] at our vibrant Footscray residential aged care community.

Trixie brings to her role 12 years of experience in the healthcare sector. Starting her career as a personal care assistant (PCA), she then worked as a nurse and eventually moved into management.

She is highly qualified, holding a Bachelor of Nursing, Diploma of Health Science, and a Diploma of Management.

Trixie loves working with her staff to create a happy and warm home environment for residents with regular celebrations for their birthdays and cultural events. She spends time getting to know each resident and welcomes their feedback so that the service at Footscray is continuously evolving with their needs and preferences.
