Royal Freemasons Springtime is a ‘complex care’ unit for mainly frail residents, requiring high staff/resident ratios and specialised services.

Darlington is a safe, secure environment with specially designed programs for residents living with dementia. Our experienced team of professionals focus on providing for the emotional, social as well as physical wellness while encouraging and maximising the abilities and skills of residents.

Multi-lingual staff and volunteers make Royal Freemasons Springtime a residential aged care ‘provider of choice’ for families seeking quality of life and wellbeing for loved ones in need of aged care.

Our Rooms

All residents at Royal Freemasons Springtime are accommodated in either private or shared rooms with ensuite and shared bathrooms.

Rooms are furnished with fully adjustable electric beds, wardrobes, bedside tables and overbed lights.

Residents are encouraged to bring items of sentimental value, artwork, TV, chair or a favourite piece of furniture to help them feel comfortable in their new home.

Our Shared Spaces

The size of the two wings are designed to ensure a ‘family feel’ to the living, dining and bedroom spaces. The shared spaces, furnished in a simple, elegant style, include gracious lounge rooms, attractive dining areas, charming outdoor courtyards and garden areas. Many residents use these areas to relax, enjoy a book, a game of cards or the opportunity to socialise and spend time with friends or family, who are always welcome to visit. There is plentiful off-street parking and we are happy to help with the arrangements for special occasions or family celebrations.

An Active Lifestyle

At Royal Freemasons Springtime, we give our residents every opportunity to experience a full, active and rewarding lifestyle. There are a variety of therapeutic and recreational activities and programs provided on site to cater for residents’ individual needs and preferences including different cultural programs, exercise programs, active games, mental stimulation activities, dementia specific activities, music and visits from entertainers and community groups and more. Day excursions to places of interest are regularly organised and enjoyed.

For those who prefer more relaxing pastimes, newspapers and magazines can be ordered for delivery or even receive visits from our own on-site hairdresser.
