Darvall Lodge comprises two wings called Erica and Boronia. Both provide general aged care accommodation and services, 24 hour care for people who require physical, social and emotional support. Continuing care is provided for your changing needs from respite through to palliative care.
Our Rooms
All residents at Darvall Lodge are accommodated in either single or twin rooms, each with their own en-suite. The rooms are furnished with fully adjustable electric beds, wardrobes, bedside tables and overbed tables. Residents are encouraged to bring items of sentimental value, artwork, TV, chair or a favourite piece of furniture to help them feel comfortable in their new home.
Our Shared Spaces
The shared spaces include two spacious dining rooms, three tastefully decorated lounges and sitting rooms, a large therapy and activities room and several tranquil secure outdoor courtyards. These peaceful and comfortable areas are where residents can relax, enjoy a book or a game of cards or spend time with friends or family, who are always welcome to visit, at any time. We’re happy to help with arrangements for special occasions or family celebrations and there is ample off-street parking for guests.
An Active Lifestyle
At Darvall Lodge, we give our residents every opportunity to experience a full, active and rewarding lifestyle. There are a variety of therapeutic and recreational activities and programs provided on site to cater for residents’ individual needs and preferences including: exercise programs, active games, mental stimulation activities, Snoezelen therapy, dementia specific activities, different cultural programs, music and visits from entertainers and community groups and more. Day excursions on the Royal Freemasons bus to visit parks and have picnics and similar activities, are also available. For those who prefer more relaxing pastimes, newspapers and magazines can be ordered for delivery or even receive visits from our own on-site hairdresser.
