Royal Freemasons Coppin Centre provides a range of 24 hour residential care solutions in one place. It provides care for those who can no longer live alone without assistance but who need low care support.
It provides high care for those who need more assistance, short term Transition Care for those on their way back home after being a patient of Alfred Health, dementia specific care, respite and palliative care. The Centre is an exemplary example of the commitment to care, excellence and choice that has earned Royal Freemasons an enviable reputation for providing modern, comfortable aged care accommodation throughout Victoria.
Coppin Centre comprises of:
Moubray House, a low care residence, with Ageing in Place and respite care,
Colbran Lodge, a safe secure environment with specially designed programs for residents living with dementia,
Coppin Lodge, a ground floor low care residence and a high care-specific floor which provides general aged care accommodation and services including 24 hour care for people who require physical, social and emotional support. Continuing care is provided for your changing needs from respite through to palliative care and a Transition Care floor caters for 30 patients from Alfred Health for periods up to 12 weeks prior to discharge home.
Coppin Centre residents also have access to Royal Freemasons Day Therapy Centre with programs and treatments focused on restoring independence and improving the general health and wellbeing of clients in an environment which is both challenging and fun. Some of the specialties available through the Day Therapy Centre include physiotherapy, occupational therapy, pharmacy, optometry, audiology, speech therapy and alternative therapies.
Our Rooms: Features include air-conditioned single and double rooms with en-suites, optional single adjoining rooms; some have balconies and verandahs. Rooms are beautifully appointed and furnished with beds, wardrobes, bedside tables, overbed tables and private telephone. Residents are encouraged to bring items of sentimental value, artwork, and a favourite piece of furniture or chair to help them feel comfortable in their new home.

There are extensive features which make the Coppin Centre a vibrant and happy environment. There are dedicated coffee shops, a concert hall, a sacred space, two gift shops, two hairdressing salons, private dining room, onsite cinema and library, an e-zone for online browsing and pay-tv. Multiple gardens and courtyards with specially designed walking tracks are all beautifully maintained and there are barbecues for residents and friends and easy walks to nearby parks and gardens.

The Day Therapy Centre is just one example of this. A wide range of leisure activities are available such as art and craft, bowls, pottery, cooking, flower arranging classes, cards, gardening group, music and visits from entertainers and community groups, dementia specific activities such as the enjoyment of live hens and a sensory garden. Day excursions on the Royal Freemasons bus to visit parks and have picnics and similar activities, are also available.
