Monash Gardens Village is just one of our independent living sites that we operate across Melbourne and regional Victoria. Located in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Monash Gardens Village is part of a well-developed, prosperous community that includes a co-located Residential Aged Care Facility and the Mulgrave Community Centre operated by Monash Council. Monash Gardens Village is designed for retirement age singles and married couples. The Independent Living Units are modern in their design and situated in peaceful, safe surrounds with a village like atmosphere. All are light and spacious and are provided with heating and some with cooling. The bedrooms and en suite are adjacent to an open plan lounge room and kitchen area. Individual clotheslines are provided in a private back yard.
Frequent social activities are organised by the Residents Committee including spit roasts and carvery luncheons. Independent Living Unit residents also have access to activities at the nearby Mulgrave Community Centre, including Carpet Bowls, Arts and Crafts classes and Bingo.
Amenities Included in the Fees
Maintenance and general gardening of front garden and lawns, rates, water usage and street lighting are included in the monthly fee.
