Gregory Lodge

Bright, spacious and modern, Gregory Lodge lets you live an active life in a secure and caring environment.

Residents at Gregory Lodge receive the kind of care and support that has made Royal Freemasons a name synonymous with quality aged care in Victoria. The Lodge is operated by a dedicated team of professional staff who ensure best practice care and support throughout all services and facilities. With a warm and friendly community, a relaxed and peaceful environment, Gregory Lodge is an ideal option for those looking to provide for loved ones needing higher levels of care.

Built in the style of a quality residential development and situated in Melbourne's relaxed suburb of Flemington, the Lodge contains 61 spacious single rooms and six twin rooms. Each of the beautifully appointed rooms features a private en suite and is furnished with a fully adjustable electric bed, wardrobes, bedside tables, over bed tables and facilities for a private telephone. We encourage residents to bring items of sentimental value, artwork, TV, chair or a favourite piece of furniture to help them feel comfortable in their new home.

Gregory Lodge is divided into two houses; Magnolia House offers a general care service while Jacaranda House includes a secure unit with specially designed programs and a safe, secure environment for residents living with dementia.

The shared spaces, furnished in a simple, elegant style, include gracious lounge rooms, attractive dining areas and a charming outdoor courtyard and garden area. Many residents use these areas to enjoy the opportunity to socialise or spend time with friends or family, who are always welcome to visit. There is plentiful off-street parking and we are happy to help with the arrangements for special occasions or family celebrations.

An Active Lifestyle

Gregory Lodge offers a wide range of interesting and entertaining activities to ensure residents have every opportunity to lead an active and rewarding life. Designed to offer something for every taste, the program includes art and craft, bowls, pottery, cooking, cards, music, bus trips as well as visits from entertainers and community groups. For those who enjoy more relaxed pastimes, newspapers and magazines can be ordered for delivery and there is even our own on-site hairdresser.

Committed to Care

With superb on-site facilities and 24-hour care and support provided by a highly trained team of professional staff, including experienced Division 1 nurses, residents at Gregory Lodge can expect the high standards of service that have been a hallmark of Royal Freemasons since it was first founded in 1867. The Director of Nursing manages the Lodge with medical supervision provided by doctors specially trained in geriatric health. There is also a dedicated team of allied health professionals, including physiotherapists, occupational and music therapists, providing stimulating programs, which promote independence and well being for all residents.
