Tailored care and support, direct to you
Coordinated programs are delivered by our trained employees who will get to know you and your specific likes and dislikes. You’ll be reassured that someone familiar is coming to your door. Our programs are individually tailored to your circumstances and preferences.
If you and your family have made the decision that Residential Aged Care (formerly known as ‘a nursing home’) is not right for you, but you are no longer possible for you to manage at home without assistance, in-home care might be the best solution for you. We can help you with personal and household tasks, and review your needs with you. Your feedback will ensure that we are offering you the help you need, and that you have choice and control in your decisions.
Royal Freemasons accept clients of all ages, who are funded by the Australian Government, NDIS, TAC or their own private means.
For a no obligation discussion call our in-Home Care Team number 1800 756 091 between 8.00am and 4.00pm or email us at: .

A Home Care Package is a coordinated package of services tailored to meet your specific care needs. Our packages are coordinated by a home care team, with funding provided by the Australian Government.
There are four levels of Home Care packages depending on the support or care you might need:
- Level 1 – basic
- Level 2 – low
- Level 3 – intermediate
- Level 4 – high
The range of services available includes care, support and clinical liaison so you can continue to live at home. We can work with you, so you have the best possible choice and flexibility in the way care and support are provided.
What does a home care package cost?
The basic fee you will be asked to contribute depends on your income and personal circumstances. If you are on the basic rate of pension, your maximum contribution will be 17.5 per cent of the single pension. If you are on a higher income you may be asked to contribute a higher amount.
There are limits on the amount of fees that are income-tested:
- Full pensioners pay no income-tested care fees. They can be asked to pay a basic fee.
- For part-pensioners, and people with equivalent incomes, income-tested fees are capped at $5,000 a year.
- Self-funded retirees have an income-tested fee capped at $10,000 a year.
The annual caps are calculated by the Government. There is also a lifetime cap for income-tested care fees up to a total of $60,000.
The Department of Social Services' website www.myagedcare.gov.au has further details on the cost including how to estimate a fee. They can also be contacted on 1800 200 422.
What if I don't want to wait?
Royal Freemasons also offer Private in-home services, which can be available right away. In this service, you have full control over the services you will receive and it will be fully funded by you. Private services are available to individuals of all ages who may need help after recovering from a surgery, a health event or your primary family carer is having a holiday.
